Many of the student all over the world want to study abroad for their higher studies. one of its prime reason is for the globally recognized degree, guaranteed internship after completion of course and may more features. some of the famous international education destinations are USA, Australia, Europe. we are here to discuss about the visa procedures for The United States of America as an F-1 status.

First challenge to overcome is to get admitted from an American university. Many American institute doesn’t provide you I-20 that easily. You have to pay application fee, write Statement of purpose(SOP), application essay in some and you must meet the minimum requirement mentioned in their website. I-20 is a document which contains all the description about your duration of study, major you will be studying, your expenses annually (in some, duration may vary). after getting an I-20 from a US university or institute, You have to file a visa form to thr US embassy in your country. For the approval here are some of the TIPS:
  • Well Research: This is the prime factor for the approval of visa application. Consular at the US embassy can ask you any thing related to your studies, financial background, your family background or any relevant topic. for this you should be well prepared. You should have enough knowledge about the course you are going to study in US, specific reason for why do you want to study that particular subject and that university. for this type of information, you can google about you university or you can correspond to your university personnel.
  • Test score: To have a better test score is the very huge plus point. if you have a good TOEFL/IELTS score along with good SAT/ACT score, your chances to get visa is high. Because of this scores, your scholarship is determined, so people, try getting good test scores.
  •  Confidence and a smile : Thing to be noticed is that, a visa consular  is also a human being. No one wants to give any thing to a person who have a attitude problem or rudeness filled talk. Remember, you are there to get a visa, and that solely depends upon the visa officers’s opinion about you. In order to have a positive impression towards visa officer, start your conversation with  a polite way. Always start your conversation with VO with a polite greeting and a gentle smile even he/she doesn’t pay attention towards you. throughout the interview, don’t let your nervousness get over to your answers. stay claim and even if u get confused with your answer, you can resume it with saying “i am sry mam” and with a smile resume it. This point is not that sure shot option, but trust me, you can get benefit, which may ultimately help you to get your visa approved.
  • All countries are not same: Remember, visa approval varies from country to country . so one country may have a higher acceptance rate and other may have less.
  • Show enough proof for home tie: Most of the visa denial is said to be made because consular does’t get convinced that you will return to your home land  after completion of your degree. so for this you have to create a incredible point that would sound like you will definitely come back to your country. but don’t just get a hypothetical answer, because you should remember that those consular tackle 100s of interview in a day and have capability to know is that answer genuine or not!
  • Practice your answer: one of the best way to get prepared for a visa interview is to practice your answer. In my suggestion you can write your answer in a paper and first of all practice it, than after look your self into the mirror and build up that fluency with a regular eye contact and smile in your face. This will help you to present yourself better at visa interview.
  • Join to a social network group: One of the good tips is that you can join to some groups which is related to the US visa interview and procedures. From those groups or pages, You can keep yourself updated. You may get chances to know the visa interview experience, upcoming events which could benefit you and lots more. You can also post in those social groups if you have any query or difficulty. It is all about building confidence in your self.
  •  LUCK!: Some of you may have faced that, with a same answer some would get a visa but other may not. a person who have lower academics, confidence or test score might get a visa but you may not. see, there is also luck which may differ your visa status. so people let me wish you All the best for your visa interview.
